Designer womenswear stock lots, wholesale from Italy

Womenswear stock is judged on variety before price: how many models, which brands, which season. This page sets out how an Italian overstock lot of womenswear is made up and what to look at in a clearance list before you commit.

Womenswear stock: a market with its own rules

In womenswear, collections change faster and cover more categories: dresses, outerwear, knitwear, shirts and blouses, skirts and trousers, through to occasion wear. This is why the leftovers of the great fashion houses are more numerous and more varied than in menswear, and for resellers they represent a continuous opportunity, provided you know how to read a lot.

LUX LAB operates in this market as an independent global buyer: it purchases high-fashion womenswear from authorised retailers and official outlets, verifies it and resells it in lots to shops, multi-brand boutiques, outlets and stockists. It is not affiliated with the brands handled, whose names are used for descriptive purposes only.

Who it is for

As with all LUX LAB stock, sales are reserved for holders of an Italian or foreign VAT number, under the Terms and conditions. We do not sell to private individuals.

How a womenswear lot is put together

Not all stock is the same: the difference between a good purchase and a risk lies in the skill of whoever selects it. A LUX LAB womenswear lot is described first of all by composition, that is by garment categories and brands present, because variety increases commercial value on the rack.

Then seasonality matters: the garments must still be sellable in the current season or the one coming, and in womenswear this weighs more than elsewhere. Finally the condition: lots are made up of new, first-quality garments. On this basis the retailer compares the lot price with the retail value and decides.

Every garment is declared original and delivered with a regular invoice. Before entering the warehouse it goes through the same five-step verification protocol applied to all LUX LAB goods: labels and stitching, materials, serial numbers checked against brand databases where available, photographic documentation and archiving with traceability.

What a womenswear buyer looks at before buying

In your request you can state the categories, price range and size curve you are interested in: we will propose the lots closest to what you sell.

Which brands a lot contains

The mix changes with every lot, because it depends on what we buy on the market at that moment. We work with two tiers.

Not every brand is in every lot, and we do not publish which ones are in stock right now: the composition of each lot is in the availability list, which is sent on request.

How it works

  1. RequestWrite to marketing@luxlab.it or use the contacts on the home page: tell us about your shop, your customers and what sells best. You receive current availability with prices per lot.
  2. Choosing the lotYou compare the composition, season, sizes and condition of the proposed lots with your customers and evaluate the ratio between price and retail value.
  3. OrderThe order is sent by email, from the website or from the B2B platform; it is concluded when LUX LAB confirms it. LUX LAB issues a pro forma invoice; once payment is received it issues the invoice, as set out in the Terms and conditions.
  4. DeliveryThe garments are re-checked, individually bagged and shipped from the Prato warehouse with STL Fashion, with insurance appropriate to the value and tracking to destination.

For recurring purchases the VIP Area is available, LUX LAB's reserved B2B platform, activated after VAT verification.

Shipping to Italy, Europe and the United States

Logistics is entrusted to STL Fashion (STL S.r.l.), LUX LAB's partner operating as a sub-carrier specialised in luxury goods: contracts and insurance appropriate to the value, export documentation for non-EU countries (commercial invoice, packing list, certificates of origin) and tracking from collection to delivery. We deliver in Italy, Europe, Poland and the United States.

Why LuxLab

One contact person, founder Alessandro Pintaldi, follows the boutique from the first list to delivery: selection, verification, invoice and shipping. LUX LAB executes directly and, when needed, involves its own associated structures while remaining responsible for the result.

If you are opening or renovating a boutique, LUX LAB can also take care of the shop's design and fit-out and supply the initial stock: design, execution and goods in a single relationship. With operational headquarters in Prato, in the Tuscan textile district, we work every day between those who make fashion and those who sell it.

Frequently asked questions

Do you sell womenswear stock to private individuals?

No. Sales are reserved for holders of an Italian or foreign VAT number operating as a business or professional. The relationship is between professionals and the right of withdrawal under the Italian Consumer Code does not apply.

Can I choose brands, categories or sizes?

A lot comes with a defined composition, which we communicate before purchase. In your request you can state the categories, price range and size curve you are interested in and we will propose the lots closest to your request.

How often does availability change?

Stock, by definition, is not a fixed catalogue: it depends on what the fashion houses and official channels make available. This is why we do not publish a price list online, but communicate current availability to those who request it, lot by lot.

Are the garments original and invoiced?

Yes. Every garment is declared original, goes through LUX LAB's five-step verification protocol and is delivered with a regular invoice detailing the items. LUX LAB buys from authorised retailers and official outlets and is not affiliated with the brands handled.

Is there a minimum order?

There is no fixed minimum: you buy by the lot and each lot has its own composition and price. State in your request the budget or volume you work with and we will propose compatible lots. Buyers who prefer to purchase part of a lot have a minimum order of €10,000.

How do I pay and where do you ship?

LUX LAB issues a pro forma invoice; once payment is received it issues the invoice, as set out in the Terms and conditions; the order is concluded when LUX LAB confirms it. We ship to Italy, Europe, Poland and the United States via STL Fashion, with insurance and tracking.
