Menswear stock moves on different rules from womenswear: fewer models, longer runs, sizes that sell in a narrower band. This page sets out how an Italian overstock lot of menswear is made up, what it costs, and what a clearance list will and will not tell you.
Every season the great fashion houses produce more than boutiques, department stores and online platforms can sell. The leftovers are not defective garments: they are unsold pieces, often still in season, that come back to the market through dedicated channels. This is the world of luxury stock, and in Prato, in the heart of the textile district, it is a market you can touch with your hands.
LUX LAB selects these garments in lots and sells them wholesale to VAT-registered retailers. We are not affiliated with the brands: we operate as an independent global buyer and purchase from authorised retailers and official outlets in Italy, Europe and the United States. Brand names are used only to describe the goods.
The service is designed for those who make a living from resale and are looking for a wholesale supplier of designer goods without going through several intermediaries:
Sales are reserved for holders of an Italian or foreign VAT number. LUX LAB does not sell to private individuals: the relationship is between professionals, as set out in the Terms and conditions of sale.
A LUX LAB menswear stock lot is a set of designer, high-fashion garments, put together according to what the retailer sells best. Depending on current availability it may include outerwear and jackets, knitwear, shirts, trousers and denim, designer sportswear.
For each lot we communicate availability and price. Every garment is declared original and is delivered with a regular invoice detailing the items: it protects the buyer, who can prove the lawful origin of the goods, and it is a fully deductible cost for the purchasing company.
Every item entering the warehouse goes through a five-step verification protocol: visual check of inner labels, codes and stitching; material analysis; serial number verification against brand databases, where available; photographic documentation of every garment; digital archiving with traceability from source to client.
The mix changes with every lot, because it depends on what we buy on the market at that moment. We work with two tiers.
Not every brand is in every lot, and we do not publish which ones are in stock right now: the composition of each lot is in the availability list, which is sent on request.
Those who work with us on a regular basis can request access to the VIP Area: a reserved B2B platform, activated after VAT verification, where availability can be consulted and orders placed directly.
Shipments are entrusted to STL Fashion (STL S.r.l.), LUX LAB's logistics partner, which operates as a sub-carrier with specific experience in transporting luxury goods. We deliver in Italy, throughout Europe, in Poland and in the United States.
Every shipment travels with contracts and insurance appropriate to the value of the goods. For non-EU destinations we prepare the export documentation: commercial invoice, packing list and certificates of origin. Garments are individually bagged and sealed; tracking is active from collection to delivery.
Anyone who buys stock knows the problem is not finding the goods, but finding them original, invoiced and with a contact person who answers. At LUX LAB the retailer talks to one person, founder Alessandro Pintaldi, from the first list to delivery. LUX LAB executes directly and, when needed, involves its own associated structures while remaining responsible for the result.
We are a Tuscan company with operational headquarters in Prato: the textile district is our daily working area, and shipments for Italy and abroad leave from here. There is no fixed minimum for everyone: stock is sold by the lot, and each lot has its own composition and price. If you have a budget or a volume in mind, state it in your request and we will propose compatible lots. Buyers who prefer to purchase part of a lot have a minimum order of €10,000.

Yes. Sales are reserved for holders of an Italian or foreign VAT number operating as a business or professional. LUX LAB does not sell to private consumers and, as this is a relationship between professionals, the right of withdrawal under the Italian Consumer Code does not apply.
We ship to Italy, throughout Europe, to Poland and to the United States. Transport is entrusted to STL Fashion (STL S.r.l.), LUX LAB's logistics partner, with insurance appropriate to the value, export documentation and tracking until delivery.

Yes. LUX LAB also supplies luxury accessories stock (bags, footwear, small leather goods) and womenswear stock. If you are interested in more than one line, say so in the same request: the contact person remains the same.
